The Blue Grotto is the most famous sight in the island of Capri, so at least once in your lifetime, you should experience this wonder of nature: after arriving with your private boat at the Blue Grotto you will hop aboard a wooden rowboat, lay back, and let yourself be carried through a tiny stone portal to another world by your able skipper, who navigates seamlessly under the meter-high cave mouth.In contrast to the intimate space and vivid color of the cavern, are the three peaks further out to sea, emerging from the azure blue water, pointing toward the sky: they are the Faraglioni and are famed for their breathtaking beauty and home of a variety of rare wildlife.

CAPRI
An island that offers a landscape of wild beauty sculpted by wind, sea and the hand of man, this is Capri. With a precipitous, jagged coast, and encircled by the famous faraglioni (sea stacks), enormous and uniquely-shaped boulders, and by numerous caves that tell of evocative plays of light. The most famous of these caves is the Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto), closely connected to the history of tourism in Capri. The island continues to be both a legend and a favorite destination for travelers, intellectuals and the international jet-set - "performing" at any given time in the legendary piazzetta, the real-time theatre of the island's 'Dolce Vita'. Capri is a gem radiating a brilliant history through all its different facets. Its innumerable points of interest allure visitors with their tales of an enchanted past. Its discovery by the ancient Romans is hinted at by countless archaeological finds - e.g. Villa Jovis, whose construction was commissioned by the Emperor Tiberius. The Certosa (Basilica) di San Giacomo is an obligatory stop; today it houses a museum exposing two statues that were recovered from the deep Grotta Azzurra. In Anacapri, the characteristic Casa Rossa (Red House) is a striking piece of work within a gorgeous and colorful landscape: inside is the L'Isola Dipinta ("The Painted Island"), a permanent exposition of images illustrating the island's history and traditions. Beyond the cultural attractions and sea and nature in all their charm, Capri also offers good shopping: tasteful boutiques and artisans' studios selling “Made in Italy” items and typical products alternate along the characteristic sidestreets and alleyways. Moreover, the exuberantly-flavored local food is tied to the island's maritime and peasant traditions.

Last year my family and I did the Capri Private Day Tour from Rome. Rosanna was very helpful in taking care of all logistical issues and we were so satisfied that I wanted to write this review. We have done many tours around the world however we have found that Rome Italy Explorer was at the top. We would compare it with the premium company.

Abbiamo fatto questo tour con la famiglia e gli amici a Luglio. E' stata un'esperienza bellissima, abbiamo potuto visitare l'isola di Capri in completa tranquillità essendo un tour privato organizzato in modo eccellente. Il tour comprendeva anche il giro dell'isola su barca privata, è stato bellissimo poter fare il bagno in mare tuffandoci dalla barca e visitare la grotta azzurra. Bellissimo anche il tragitto fatto con la seggiovia per raggiungere le vette del Monte Solaro ad Anacapri. Ottima organizzazione, professionalità e simpatia.

Esperienza meravigliosa sull’ isola di Capri. L’autista è l’accompagnatrice dell’agenzia ci hanno prelevato e siamo arrivati a Sorrento dove ci siamo imbarcati per l’isola di Capri. Una volta sull’isola con un pulmino privato siamo saliti ad Anacapri per prendere la seggiovia per ammirare il paesaggio dal Monte Solaro. Scesi nella zona di Capri abbiamo visitato i Giardini di Augusto . L’esperienza meravigliosa è stato il giro privato con la barca per tre ore. Ci siamo tuffati nelle calette e visitato La Grotta Azzurra. Rientrati a Sorrento abbiamo cenato in un ristorante situato su una palafitta sul mare. Tour organizzato in modo professionale. Tour privato ottimo su tutti i punti di vista. Grazie Luigi e Rossana e Rome Italy Explora. ARRIVEDERCI!!

Estuve en Capri en Julio 2020 con mi familia. Fue una experiencia maravillosa. Salimos de Roma con una guía privada y con un autista che nos ha conducida hasta Capri. Después hemos tomado una embarcación para alcanzar la isla. En Capri visitamos sus lugares más famosos, los farallones también. Después de la visita de la isla hicimos un viajó en barco de tres horas para admirar todas las maravillas del mar de Capri y sus cuevas. Vimos también la Grotta Azzurra, la más bonita de Capri donde el mar es cristalino y lleno de peces. Fue todo perfecto y el servicio estupendo. Recomiendo este tour a todos porque Capri es una isla llena de lugares maravillosos y el mar es fantástico

Amazing and breathtaking trip! Rosanna and Luigi were spectacular guides! They were extremely professional and detail-oriented. They took care of our itinerary for the day and made sure that we were able to see and enjoy all of the beautiful things that Capri had to offer. They have many connections around Rome and Capri, so you are truly treated like a VIP throughout the entire day. I would recommend this trip to anyone that is staying in Rome, but would desire to take a day trip to see the beauty of Capri

An incredible experience; easily the highlight of our entire trip to Italy. Luigi the driver picked us up right where we were staying, and Rossana the guide was a font of knowledge, a seasoned professional, and a longtime friend to absolutely everybody we met who had the power our tour any easier. She even helped us carry our purchases around! These tours are more expensive than some others offered here, but you absolutely get what you pay for. My advice: don't skimp on your tour bookings; you pay for it later when you're being rushed through the site, crammed into a packed bus, or given the hard sell about the "best" place to shop in town (i.e., the kickback connection). May these guys what they deserve, and get the VIP treatment you deserve. In short: if I could plan my trip to Italy all over again, I'd have booked every single tour with this provider.

An absolutely wonderful experience. Rossana was incredible. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and led us on a unmatched experience. She showed us the beauty of Capri and pampered us the entire way. The trip from Rome to Naples to board the ferry was comfortable and expedient. Rossana was a great conversationalist and provided great communication both before and after our tour with her. When I return to Italy I will be booking many more tours with Rome Italy Explora. In my time in Italy I took several tours and This one was far and away the most enjoyable and well worth every penny!

I have nothing but great things to say about this tour. Tour guide Bianca picked us up at our hotel early in the morning (she was in lobby when we came down) and escorted us to a luxury van with plenty of room for the 3 of us that was waiting to take us to Naples. The driver was great, very focused and we felt safe during the ride. They purchased ferry tickets to Capri so we didn’t have to stand in line or figure out what type of tickets to purchase. Upon our arrival in Capri, she had a car waiting to take us on a tour to Anacapri. We hung out there and then took the tram up to the top where the view was spectacular. Bianca stood in the long line and bought those tickets while we sipped a cocktail and watched the sights. After taking the car back down to the harbor, she escorted us to a private boat to tour the island from the water. We went around the island, and stopped and pulled into several grottos which the island is famous for. After the boat tour, we went into the town area and sat at a waterside restaurant. The people that worked there knew Bianca and were all smiles when they saw her. Then we started the trip home, finishing a truly wonderful day. Bianca was FABULOUS. She was always smiling, was very friendly, spoke English very well as she shared facts along the way and just made the day for us. She did all the thinking and legwork so we could just enjoy and experience everything. No concerns, no worries, no figuring anything out, no language barriers - everything was done for us, and done with a smile. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone, and suspect that any other tours that Bianca is involved in will be a similar and wonderful experience. Ciao!

What an amazing and unforgettable experience we had with Rome Italy Explora. We spent three full days with Bianca, the most amazing tour guide, to Capri one day, Amalfi the next day, and ended at the Colosseum on the last. Our trip to Rome would have not been the same without theses experiences and amazing hospitality. We learned so much from Bianca and shared so many great memories as a family together! We hope to make it back to Italy soon and share more great memories with Explora.
